What a gorgeous Spring day for Caroline + Tommy’s Medinah Country Club wedding! These two threw one of the most epic parties of the year, and 2026 is just getting started.

Their Story

Caroline and Tommy first met in their high school English class at Benet Academy in Lisle, IL. In 2019, the pair began their freshman year of college with Caroline at Santa Clara University and Tommy at University of Notre Dame. During the pandemic, Tommy transferred to Georgetown University which was fully remote for 2020-21. Caroline took a gap year so the couple got to spend a lot of quality time together at home in the Chicago suburbs. Although they went to schools on opposite sides of the U.S., they grew as individuals with the other’s love and support through it all. During one of their travels in Southeast Asia, Tommy got down at one knee and proposed at the Thean Hou Temple in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

In August 2024, Caroline moved down to Miami with Tommy where they LOVE spotting manatees on their morning walks with their dog, Sage. Tommy is finishing up his M.D./M.P.H. program at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine while Caroline is enjoying working from home and reading lots of books. Together, they enjoy going on long walks with Sage, watching The Great British Baking Show, having a glass of wine out on the balcony during sunset, and sharing a Whole Foods pizza.

Medinah Country Club Wedding

Caroline + Tommy had their first look in the Palm Lounge room at Medinah Country Club. After a few portraits around the venue, their wedding party and families joined us. The two are super close with their parents and siblings, so it was really fun to capture that dynamic between their loved ones. Tommy’s grandmother even officiated! Once their ceremony concluded, the couple joined their guests for cocktail hour. There was no shortage of smiles as Caroline + Tommy greeted everyone who came to celebrate them.

We all moved into the ballroom for dinner + speeches. Caroline + her dad shared a dance together followed by the newlyweds. The party continued pretty much nonstop from there. The energy was definitely electric! You always know a couple is having a great time when it looks like a workout on the dance floor. Needless to say, this was definitely a fun party!
