Natalie + Kelly held their City Winery wedding on the most perfect fall day surrounded by the BEST group of people. Now THIS is a wedding I’d love to relive over and over again!

Their Story

“We met online,” Natalie told me. “But it was a miracle we did! Kelly was on the site for 3 days and I am notorious for never checking my profile so I hadn’t checked my profile for weeks. I happened to log on within those three days! Kelly was looking for friends but I was there looking for love, which I found!”

Getting Ready + Portraits

Natalie + Kelly got ready together at an Airbnb in Lincoln Park. Instead of doing a first look with each other, the brides wanted to set up a first look with their moms! Definitely an adorable moment and one of my favorite first looks all year. We then traveled with the couple and the wedding party over to the South Pond and the Lincoln Park Conservatory for portraits. Look at these adorable goofballs! I LOVE it when couples feel comfortable enough to get silly in front of the camera. I don’t think I’ve ever smiled so much while taking photos.

City Winery Wedding

We arrived at the venue and we took a few family portraits before the couple hid away as guests came. The ceremony began with a fun processional followed by Natalie + Kelly walking themselves down the aisle. It didn’t matter that there was a chill in the wind– all I could see were smiles. After the couple said their vows and kissed, they did a little impromptu dance back up the aisle! Guests then filed upstairs for cocktail hour as Natalie + Kelly greeted their friends + loved ones.

The rest of the night was filled with speeches, incredible food, and LOTS of laughs! The brides did a sweet combined dance with their dads, followed by their first dance as newlyweds. Natalie’s Cuban family kept the dance floor going and had everyone on their feet. Of course, the night wouldn’t be complete without flan on the dessert table. They wouldn’t let me leave without taking some and I very happily obliged!

I’m so happy to call Natalie + Kelly my friends. Their City Winery Wedding was nothing short of fabulous. Congrats! xx
