Although there were a limited amount of friends, social distancing and masks (for the most part), Anais + Brett had a super fun Labor Day weekend wedding. Despite the pandemic and all of the craziness that has been happening in 2020, everyone was smiling the entire day, including me! As a photographer, you know it’s a fun one when your face hurts from laughing at the end of a wedding.
Anais + Brett have a very powerful love accompanied by a strong support group. It’s important to not in this story that all of Anais’ family was in Florida and none of them were able to attend the wedding. If a stranger had come upon this celebration, however, they would never have guessed that anyone was missing. In an ideal world, the entire family would have been together. But Brett’s family very clearly adores Anais and see her as a part of their family. Anais even surprised Brett’s dad and asked him to dance with her for the father-daughter dance!
Erin, Anais’ best friend, has already won my award for the best Maid of Honor of 2020 (and the year isn’t even over yet!). She put EVERYTHING together for them. She organized the backyard tent setup, helped make all of the decorations, and was even finishing up the place cards as she was putting on makeup earlier that morning.
Every time someone made a speech about either Anais or Brett, they advocated for the couple’s unrivaled kindness. Both of Brett’s brothers (the Best Men) and Erin said that they couldn’t imagine anyone being more of a compassionate person until these two met each other. From this photographer’s prospective, no better match existed for either of them. I love finding couple’s who know the meaning of love and have hearts that can contain an entire universe. Anais + Brett are honestly two of the most generous and thoughtful people I have ever met and I was incredibly honored to have documented their Labor Day weekend wedding. If I didn’t believe in love before documenting this wedding, I most certainly do now. Congrats you guys!
